A small farm forgotten in the middle of town. The old farm house and outbuildings were just waiting for the right owner and a restoration imminent. We were engaged to renovate the house and outbuildings to create a livable place for the owner yet work within the strict guidelines of the town. The interior plan was altered to create a large kitchen family room in the rear open to a deck. The formal front rooms for living and dining remained as originally designed. The exterior was reimagined with large scaled double hung windows, new siding and roof and the outbuildings were preserved to enclose the pool area and create a private space for vegetables and play. An old water tower was transformed to a guest house and the front porch re designed to look like it was always just so.
