In raising ceilings and reconfiguring terraces, we were able to completely remodel this existing building on the lee of Telegraph Hill within the original footprint. To accommodate the program of additional parking, gracious living spaces and un-paralleled views, a new foundation was constructed deep within the hillside. Materials are detailed with a minimalist approach and light is balanced through light shafts and garden walls.
