Tucked against the park, this classic city house needed help. The original design was not suitable for the young couple and their two children—the plan needed to be updated to accommodate a big open kitchen at the rear. By adding a deck, over scaled windows and doors and vaulting the ceiling we were able to create spaces that worked well yet still maintained the integrity of the original house. Collaborating with Palmer Weiss and her associates was key to the success of this project.
