Sited on a 40 acres ridgeline, this new house spans two mature oak trees and takes advantage of the views, while remaining hidden from neighbors. The house itself is a very simple, Neutra-inspired, modern box with an overhanging eave and an extensive elevation of glass to the south. The grand scale and keen siting provide an elegant twist on mid-century modern while providing the benefit of a passive solar design.
