HILLSBOROUGH I
This existing ranch style house was rebuilt up from its slab foundation. By raising the roof to 12’ and expanding the glass walls, the house with a warm palette of mahogany and stone opens to the garden. The larch ceilings further enhance the feeling of warmth and visually connect the living spaces out to the covered terrace. Custom mahogany pivot doors provide uninterrupted frames to the garden while screens are carefully disguised in the operable windows above. The entry is understated and only hints at the scale within.
