This weekend house, inspired by early California courtyard houses, sits high above the Dry Creek Valley. Two guest suites are accessed along an outdoor corridor allowing views to the pool and valley beyond, through the open plan. A simple palette of terracotta pavers, stained redwood and integral color stucco help anchor the house to a knoll of oaks and madrones.
